Holding tryouts for the next great Vacuum!!!!

Today I bury 3 vacuums : (

it is a very very sad day!

I am looking for a vac that can handle a home with 90% carpet,

2 busy , sporty, active kids,

3 dogs,

a messy hubby,

and a daycare full of kids.

I need a vacuum that will live at least a year!

Help!!!

I will be taking reccomendations and I will be holding tryouts!
