WHY OH WHY DO KIDS GO OUT THE DOOR WITHOUT BREAKFAST OR WITH A HIGH SUGAR ALTERNATIVE?

ANSWER THIS QUESTION, PLEASE ....... HAS YOUR CHILD SKIPPED BREAKFAST OR HAD A BREAKFAST ON THE RUN CONSISTING OF POP TARTS OR RICE KRISPY TREATS (YES TREATS). IF YOU ANSWERED YES READ ON IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE THIS TO THEIR CHILDREN FORWARD THIS TO THEM. DON'T GET ME WRONG I AM A MOM OF AN ALMOST 12 AND 14 YEAR OLD AND I KNOW IT IS LIKE BEATING A DEAD HORSE, I AM TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO CHANGE THE WAY 1-10 EAT BREAKFAST! MAYBE WE WILL CHANGE THE HABITS SO AT 12,13,14,ETC THEY WILL BE GOOD HEALTHY EATERS. BUT PLEASE TRY WITH YOUR PRE-TEENS AND TEENS NOW!!

* Peanut butter and fruit spread on whole wheat toast, 1/2 an orange and a glass of milk.




* Peanut butter spread on apple slices and a bowl of whole grain cereal with milk.



* Toasted whole wheat bagel spread with peanut butter and honey, topped with slices of bananas and a glass of milk.



* Bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar, peanut butter and milk and a glass of orange juice.



* Breakfast burrito: scrambled egg, black beans and salsa wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla and a glass of orange juice.
